Hello all

My friend is trying to create an account on the Laos consulate website. He's getting an error over and over when trying to make an account.

This actually happened to me 6 months ago so I thought I would ask here as I fixed the problem by Googling it. Here's a pic for reference:

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users shared multiple solutions for resolving account creation issues on the Laos consulate website, including clearing browser cache, using incognito mode, trying different email addresses, and switching browsers (e.g., to Internet Explorer or Edge). Some comments also suggested the problem might relate to past no-show appointments with the Thai consulate.

I believe that the OP has answers to his friends problem. Hopefully he will be able to get into the website for the Thai Consulate in Vientiane.

Thanks for your helpful replies.

Also try using IE/Edge instead of your regular browser.

I need to do this for some NZ government sites otherwise it won’t let me login (I assume I’ve got a browser plug-in or security settings it doesn’t like).

Clear browser cache, use incognito mode, or as James said if the user missed a booking previously using this email address, then use a different email address to register/login.

Could the problem be that your friend was a no show for a prior booked appointment with the Thai Consulate in Vientiane ???

Failed to cancel the appointment set ???
