What is Safe Entry in Thailand and how does it differ from Fast Track?

YES there is, Just do not make the mistake and confuse the "VIP Fast Track" or simply"Fast Track" with a "VIP Safe Entry" . . it is not the same service!

Yes there is and I have used their services many times.

Contact an agent and they will request a photo of your passport. They will contact their “person” with that information. Then they will tell you a price. It ranges anywhere from 3000฿ and up. It’s a guaranteed entry.

Two questions. What is "safe" about this? What is the difference with fast track? Last time i used fast track i was also escorted by an immigration officer. Did not send photos etc.

Yes, there is such thing. You need to purchase it from an agent, not from a regular website offering Fast Track. Fast track is not safe entry, it's just a different line with limited access. With safe entry, you submit your passport information including your recent history in Thailand, and you are quoted a price. The agent will send all of your information to their contacts at the airport to pre-clear you. Before you board your flight into Thailand, you must send a photo of you and the clothes you are wearing. You will be met by an immigration officer who will take you to the fast track area and open a up a line just for you, and stamp you in with no questions asked.
