Hi Everyone,

I have a few questions regarding the end of amnesty (31th July) deadline. Sorry if the questions were asked before.

1 - I am currently the owner of a Business Visa ( Nom-Imm B - 1y - multiple entries) valid until March 2021.

The last rules say that work permit holders are allowed to enter iThailand, but I don’t have one - So I would like to inquiry whether this Non-Imm B visa would be taken into consideration

2- I am still in Bangkok: is it possible to get an extension of stay ?

3- in Bangkok, where is the Immigration office ?

Thanks in advance your answers!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author queries about the implications of the end of the amnesty period in Thailand on their Non-Imm B visa status, the possibility of extending their stay in Bangkok without a work permit, and the location of the immigration office in Bangkok. The initial response indicates that they cannot extend their stay due to lacking a work permit and warns about challenges if they leave the country.

You will not qualify for an extension of stay based on employment (or owning a business) inside the country because you don't have a work permit so that's off the table

AND

IF you get out of the country you're not gonna be getting back any time soon. :O You would have to apply for permission to enter at the thai consulate in the country you went to, meet the requirements (100K US dollars covid-19 insurance, fit to fly certificate, negative covid test, certificate of entry approval and have booked a 14 day quarantine at one of the approved facilities here in thailand)

At this time it appears you're on amnesty and you just wait it out like everyone else on amnesty to see what the government comes up with as far as what amnesty holders do when it runs out
