Morning everyone, here is my question for you : is it true that we can ask to extend any visa for 30 days? I'm on a student visa expiring in September and it would be more comfortable for me to have an extra 30 days to switch it into a business visa... You see? One important thing to remember is that thai immigration offices all seem to have their own interpretation of the rules. Chiang Mai might tell you something different from Chiang Rai, for example. Anything you learn here might not apply in your area.

I believe you can only get a 30 day extension on a tourist visa WITH an embassy letter. Changing from one Non-imm to another is up to your immigration office
