TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat in Thailand is seeking advice on options for extending their visa after their 60-day SEV and its 60-day extension based on marriage to a Thai national. They express concerns about flights being canceled and uncertain work due to the cruise industry shutdown.

Put 400k in an account and go for the year long extension.

April 4th is a very long time away.

You'd have to leave Thailand and either border bounce or purchase a new visa. You *MAY* be able to get a one year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai wife.

>and my flight home to the UK has been cancelled by Turkish Airways

They did give you a refund, right? If they did, then book another flight out, there are still flights going on between Thailand and the UK.
