TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat in Thailand is seeking advice on what to do after their visa expires on April 12, but their flight isn't until April 28, and they cannot do a visa run due to closed borders. The comments suggest contacting the UK embassy for a letter of support if flights are canceled, and several users emphasize checking previous posts for shared experiences.
please contact your Embassy. I close this down, even when I appreciate all the help offered but we do not need 150 comments with all the different Embassies in Bangkok.
Sorry, every person should know before they travel how to contact their Embassy in case of emergency.

Always great, so people tell you, you can get a letter from the US or if you prefer the UK Embassy. That is NOT how it works.
You contact your Embassy, which represent your county or origin and there you ask how they can help you with a letter to support that you could not leave Thailand on time.

You can get a letter from the UK embassy if all your flights are cancelled.

This only works IF he has an UK passport

I would do a search in this group. A lot of people have already posted about their experiences and your country is probably covered. The general knowledge is that you need to get a letter of support from your embassy (a lot of embassies are doing them by email. I’m from the US and they are just handing them out to anyone who asks). You take the letter to immigration and they’ll sort it out. But, definitely look through the other posts and comments. Lots of this information has already been shared.
