What are my chances of being denied entry to Thailand after a previous denial due to visa runs?

I was denied entry into Thailand once last April due to visa runs. But was eventually able to get in a few days later. I then left two months later and haven’t been back since. I’m planning to go back in April making it 1 year since I was denied and about 10 months since I was last there. What are the chances I am denied entry again? I’ll only stay for 55 days with return ticket, funds, and accommodations. But I’m flying from the States and I don’t want to be turned around and sent back. Should I just go with an agency that will get me in? Or is a year enough time.
Answer summary
A user discussed their previous denial of entry into Thailand related to visa runs and expressed concerns about future travel plans given the time elapsed since the denial. The question revolved around the likelihood of being denied entry again after a year, especially since they plan to offer proof of a return ticket, funds, and accommodations. The comments included various suggestions such as obtaining a visa prior to travel, utilizing safe entry services for better guarantee of entry, and tips on managing travel routes that could minimize risks.

You should be in a much better position now since it's been about a year since the denial and 10 months since your last stay, especially if you're coming in clean with a return ticket, accommodation, and proof of funds. Most people in similar situations get in without issues after that amount of time, but immigration has been a bit tighter recently so it's never 100% (at the moment they have been practicing increased discretion) .

If you want extra peace of mind given the long flight, you can use a service to assist with entry, and our team can help review your case and arrange VIP entry to remove the risk:

in the author's case, this service should be very expensive, if they accept it. But, if the author can pay this, why did he overstay in Thailand before without proper visa?? 😂

55 days shouldn't be a problem if you have returned ticket. That's just my guess.

I'd recommend a safe entry service if you want to be certain of getting in. Having a visa would also help but still leaves you in the hands of the immigration officer

Many things “should” happen, but don’t.

She ‘should’ have had more sense and not provoked the ire of the Immigration Officer a year ago.
