For those of you who have retired in Thailand with the money in the bank to do so. Have any of you taken any health insurance out through the bank?
If so, can share your thoughts!
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around expats who have retired in Thailand and their experiences with insurance offered by Thai banks. Some participants mentioned that while banks may offer accident insurance, the health insurance options can be limited and not very favorable compared to private providers. For example, one user shared that they received a better offer directly from AIA than from their bank. Others noted that issues such as age limits can affect the ability to purchase insurance from banks.
I did take accident insurance when I got a Kasikorn account. A couple of months later I had an accident and Kasikorn paid in full. I bought more insurance the next year. They eventually wouldn’t sell to me when I turned 65.

I believe banks offer accident insurance, not health insurance. Coverage limits are usually pretty low.

Some Thai banks did that but you need to check the details policy carefully.

I did get a offer from the Bank but it wasn't very good, I went directly to the AIA and got a better offer.
