Hello everyone, questions about additional documents!
It turns out the embassy I’m applying from -Nepal- ask for flights in and out of Thailand too but there is no place in the application form to attach them.. so I was thinking to wait till they ask for additional documents- that’s what they do before rejecting right? And when they ask for additional documents, do they ask for them to be submitted online? Because I won’t be near the embassy after tomorrow…
Also my entry date to Thailand is 21st of December yet my visa in Nepal ends December 12 (im gonna do 15 day extension) would that be an issue?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post inquires about the necessity of submitting flight details for a Thai visa application from Nepal and the process for providing additional documents. The user expresses concern regarding the short validity of their current visa and plans to extend it shortly before entering Thailand. Comments suggest checking official sources for requirements, emphasize the importance of submitting as much documentation as possible initially, and discuss the handling of additional document requests, indicating they may need to be uploaded online or submitted in person.
When I applied I submitted everything I had and they did ask for additional documents, including a flight out (I go back and forth for work). It'll open up spots for whatever additional documents are needed.
VFS handles the applications for the DTV in Nepal and they are a shower of ( Redacted ) and known to be overly pedantic. Someone has to pay for that shopping mall they occupy in Tamal.
Once I saw they had their grubby little hands in the application process, I looked elsewhere.
Just interested to know if you actually contacted the Embassy of VFS.
There is a private international visa processing company called VFS that process the DTV + other vidas for the Thai embassy in Kathmandu. They are located in the 3rd floor of a new shopping mall in Thamel area.
How do they ask for the flights if there is no place for it? Are you sure they are not just asking for your flight numbers? Otherwise if they ask on their site then I would probably combine it with the location proof? You can use something like ilovepdf.com to merge files.
Additional documents have to be provided online but they can also request an in person interview at the embassy.
How do you know they ask for flights? Is it on their website? If so, you should include it in initial package. Also confused about your visa for December? You have another visa already? You can only have one valid visa at a time
Anonymous participant - then I would combine two documents - proof of location and flights into one pdf. However, most embassies just ask for flights number and date, but not actual tickets. When you called, did you explicitly state you were applying for DTV and not a tourist visa? DTV holders tend to stay longer and therefore don’t usually have a return flight
