Hi everyone, asking for my mother.

She is planning to come visit mid December, and debating should she come in on the extention stamp or make a visa via embassy. She will be coming from Ukraine, which is currently not on the list of no-quarantine countries, so will need to do either sandbox or 7 days quarantine.

Which way is better for her to do? Easier to extend stay to 90 days or even more? Which documents she will need other that vaccine certification and insurance?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the best option for their mother traveling from Ukraine to Thailand in December. They are considering whether to utilize the extension stamp for a short visit or to apply for a tourist visa at the embassy. Responses indicate that she could enter Thailand on a Visa Exempt stamp for 30 days, which can be extended for an additional 30 days (totaling 60 days), or apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa at the Thai Embassy that allows a 60-day stay, also extendable by 30 days (totaling 90 days). It's noted that due to current regulations, she will need to undergo a 7-day sandbox program upon arrival due to Ukraine's classification, with details given on the necessary health documents required for entry.

She can get a visa but only at Warsaw Consulate, as Kiev Honorary Consulate can't issue visas.

Perfect answer, as till now Ukrainian are not on the list …she has to go into sandbox model means stay 7 days in hotel, but need only one day ( some hours ) to wait for the negative result …No quarantine can go to the beaches and enjoy the live, phuket serve alcohol in every restaurant ( bar )….

If she meets the requirement, she can enter Thailand on the Sandbox program..

She is eligible for Sandbox.

As she use a passport from the Ukraine, she can get 30 days Visa Exempt on entry which can be extended once with 30 days, total 60 days.

OR she can apply for the Single Entry Tourist Visa at the Thai Embassy before travel and get 60 days on entry, which can be extended once with 30 days, total 90 days.

As it is unknown how long your mother likes to visit you, these are the short term options.
