I’m based in Australia and need to apply for a LTR Remote Worker Visa. To reduce the risk I am considering using a Visa agent to prepare the application… should I find an agent in Australia or one in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to hire a visa agent in Australia or Thailand for assistance with their LTR Remote Worker Visa application. Community comments suggest that there is minimal risk in the application process, as costs are incurred only after approval. Furthermore, it is mentioned that the approved visa agents listed on the LTR website can be quite expensive, and others recommend attempting to complete the application process independently.

What risk? You don't pay anything with the LTR until AFTER you have already been approved and are ready to collect the visa.

The LTR website has their "approved" visa agents. They are not cheap.

All of the paperwork for the application has to come from you. An agent is just going to be asking you to provide the things in the application, same as you doing it yourself. Login to the BOI system and see what it takes. It's not that complicated. I did it all myself and received my LTR remote worker visa.
