Does anyone know of a reputable agent that can help me with a workacation application? I don't want to end rejected because of all the nonsense at certain embassies.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks recommendations for a reliable agent to assist in applying for a workation visa in Thailand. Commenters provide insights, mentioning that while agents like Issa Compass may help, there is still a risk of rejection, and some advocate for a do-it-yourself approach to avoid additional costs and ensure better preparation.
If you're rejected, you'll lose around USD300-400. If you use an agent, you'll use more than that and can still be rejected. The best is to prepare very well and try by yourself.
Anonymous participant From what I have seen 300 to 400 USD is on the low end for agent charges. Just for do checking and submission. As a comparison 7k Baht is the going rate for a Retirement submission when all documents are in order and own money in the bank
That is for the extension when yiu have yiur own money in the bank and all documentation. Extension using their money is about 13 or 14k. Initial application eith their money is about 25k up. Those prices were last year in Pattaya. The 7k for submission was also quoted in Chiang Mai in June
well, you can't use an agent anymore for the money... Now banks don't provide you a statement if you don't sign a paper that you had or will leave the money in the account for 4 months... At least bkk bank is doing it since July.
People are 100% still using agents for the money. Yes, there are issues with Bangkok Bank and mainly in Pattaya. There are other options. Most of the well known agents are acting as per normal again.
Participante anónimo some of them do, yes. I've heard some even charging 70,000 baht. Of course you don't need to use an expensive one, but they're out there.
I’m in process with Issa Compass. They’re reviewing my docs now before I head out. So far they’ve been responsive, but can’t tell u the outcome until then. Good luck!
You can still be rejected from Ivy Leagues with a perfect GPA and SAT. I'm aware. I just want to improve my chances, and I'd rather pay a little extra than gamble with the big embassy fee.
