TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post discusses concerns regarding the validity of a story related to travel insurance in the context of safety in Thailand. Comments reflect skepticism, labeling the story as 'click bait' and 'utter nonsense,' while others acknowledge that the individual story may represent a worst-case scenario, noting that rising costs and stricter immigration practices are affecting many expatriates.

This is one persons experience. I do know others who felt the expense of the tide of change. This is a worst case scenario, poor bloke. But bank accounts are being frozen, costs are rising and immigration are being firmer. Things change. But if you watched all 31 minutes of this (which I did). There is a lot of warnings and good advice. Especially in the last 5 minutes. Peoples circumstances differ, but I know that this is not an isolated incident and not BS as some have said.

Don't read crap like that. It's just scaremongering. Watching video clips on YouTube isn't imo the smartest move if you need correct info about anything.

No, travel insurance typically does not cover acts of war or conflict, whether declared or undeclared. Most policies explicitly exclude coverage for events like war, invasion, military actions, and related disruptions. This means that if your trip is affected by war, you likely won't be able to claim for cancellations,
