TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation addresses concerns regarding the time limit for staying outside of Thailand on a NON-O marriage visa. It highlights the importance of having a re-entry permit; without one, the visa may lapse. However, if a re-entry permit is secured, there is no strict time limit for how long one can remain outside Thailand as long as they return before their permitted stay expires.

There is no time limit that you can stay out of Thailand for with a valid visa/extension. You’d just have to be back before your allowed to stay date runs out.

As
@Bra****
said unless you had a re-entry permit the visa/extension will have lapsed already.

Did you purchase a re-entry permit before you left? If not, you already lost your permission to stay in Thailand.

If you purchased a re-entry permit, then you must be back before your next extension to apply for it.

yes, wonder if the OP will need to now apply outside for a new Non-O 90 days like others I know.

There's a date on your stamp in your passport as well as a date on your re-entry permit. They should both be the same date, and that's when you have to be back by to apply for your extension.
