Is there a limit to the number of entries by land (from Cambodia)? My visa expires on 20.1.25 and in 2024 I will exceed the annual 180 days, does the count reset in a new year? πŸ™πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus from the community is that there is no specific limit to the number of entries by land from Cambodia to Thailand, nor is there a reset of the 180-day count at the start of the new year. Each entry is determined at the discretion of the immigration officer, and the lack of a long-term visa may result in issues or denial of entry if they perceive abuse of the system. It is advisable to be prepared with financial proof and accommodation details to facilitate smoother entry.

Have the 3 proofs when returning 20k baht or equivalent in currency a flight out in 60 days and proof of accommodation and if they ask you for this your very close to being denied entry

There's no reset, there's no specified limit and there's no 180 day rule. Every entry is at the discretion of the immigration officer you stand in front of. In your situation I'd see if a border run company can take you rather than trying to do it yourself

There is no limit and there is no 180 day rule. But you can't live in Thailand without a long term visa. Each entry is at the discretion of the immigration officer you are standing in front of, and eventually they will tell you that you're not a tourist and that you are abusing the system. They'll either give you a warning or deny you entry.
