Many users affirm that applying for a Thai DTV visa from the US is effective, with experiences of quick approvals ranging from one to two weeks. However, applicants should be aware of higher fees and the need to maintain a specific amount of funds in a bank account for a minimum period, typically three months, to meet financial requirements.
tax return, letter of guarantee for remote work, brief description of business, business license. I had includes remote work letter before they asked for it again so I phrased it as a letter of guarantee for remote work.

Yes I applied in DC and was approved in 1 week.

Yea, it was pretty easy honestly, but the thing that hung me up is you have to have $16,000 in your bank account for 3 months. I moved the money for one month and applied. They basically gave me an incomplete because you need 3 months in the SAME bank account. So I left my brokerage money there for 2 more months then updated my application and was approved 2 days later. I didn't have to reapply or pay the fee again.

I can confirm as well, three months bank statements with balance above minimum are required. Do I have to do anything special with my application in terms of marking it as incomplete? Or is this done automatically

No problem. It was around $400. But they didn't do an outright rejection. It just stayed in pending status while I waited for the 2 extra months of bank statements. I've heard others having to reapply but that wasn't the case for me.
