TLDR : Answer Summary
A community member is inquiring about the current status of their DTV visa application submitted through ISSA Compass, which was filed on October 6th without any updates. Other commenters shared their experiences, noting that approvals took various amounts of time, with some receiving responses quickly while others are still waiting. Factors like public holidays affecting processing times and the need for further documentation requests were mentioned. Overall, there seems to be a shared delay among those applying during this period.

Hi guys glad to hear it is not only me waiting - must be a busy time for them. They came back (agent) and asked for a copy of every page of my passport with time and date showing on laptop. So hopefully next step is agreed

I have applied with Issa in Indonesia. Mine took 9 working days to get visa but it's actually about 6 working days coz they took more than a day to submit to Thai Authorities after I uploaded all docs to their platform and another two days when the embassy requests further docs which I provided back within a few hours. Issac is really slow in real time communication. But I would say professional though; their legal feedbacks, requests for further docs while in review stage...

Are you checking your application directly online? I used Issa compass too and got it eventually approved but I had to check online directly many times and put pressure on them to submit additional documents when required

Requested for further documents for 2 times every 3 working days. Took 13 days, including 2 weekends

Someone posted the line contact of HCMC. Just contact them and ask nicely if you need to provide more documents in order to help with the process, also with your name and case number. They didn’t reply me but I got approved the next day. 😁

I can't understand this, in fact, yesterday two people, including one who applied after me, had theirs approved just yesterday in Hanoi and on top of that it was a holiday and also outside of office opening hours.

Anonymous participant 881 From what I understand the final approval comes from a Thai Consular Officer - they might review and click approved anytime they feel like working??
