Is the Thai visa application now only through the Thai website and no longer through local embassies?

Hi! Do i get it right that now with the e-application its all through the thai website, not the local embassy? Lets say if I fly to nearby country it’s actually not through them anymore? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current Thai visa application process allows for submissions via an online platform, which is accessible to all embassies. However, applications must still be routed through the specific local embassy where the applicant is located. While the application process is digital, it is important to note that approval and processing still depend on the respective embassy's jurisdiction.

It's trhu each local embassy, the sole difference is that the application is lodged on a central website, which then sends each one to each local embassy.

same website, but it will be processed by a different embassy. Still, I think (that's just my wild guess) they'll be able to see your whole history of online application rejections/approvals.

But some people here have told they were rejected at one place, then applied again elsewhere and got it approved. Both online applications.

U apply in a website that is available to all embassies but your application is routed to the specific embassy where you applied.

No, it is through the local embassy website and you need to be in that country. Just that the application is online.
