Does the Thai Embassy in Rome accept in-person tourist visa applications, or is there an online application system?

Hi Can someone please tell me if the Thai Embassy in Rome accepts applications for tourist visas in person, or is there a new online tourist visa application system? And do you need to complete the Thai Pass before applying for a tourist visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Embassy in Rome does not currently utilize the online visa application system according to the e-visa website, so it's unclear if they accept in-person applications or handle them via mail. It's advised to contact the embassy directly for confirmation. Additionally, you do not need to complete the Thailand Pass before applying for a tourist visa, but it is required before entering Thailand.

According to the evisa website the Italian embassy is not yet using the system. I’m not sure if they are accepting visits in person or done via mail. You’d need to contact them to confirm. You don’t need to complete the ThailandPass system before getting a visa, but you would before entering Thailand.
