TLDR : Answer Summary
The STV (Special Tourist Visa) is generally available and has been issuing by most embassies, including for Polish citizens. However, the ability to obtain it may depend on the specific embassy's current regulations. The TR (Tourist Visa) provides an initial stay of 60 days, which can be extended once for an additional 30 days, with potential additional extensions depending on the COVID situation. It’s recommended to check the Thai embassy in Warsaw for updates and options available for gaining longer stays, including volunteer or education visas.

1. Get married.. don’t need to 40k baht and above for visa. You just need 400k baht in your bank.

2. Find a visa company and pay 40k baht above for a “volunteer visa”. You just paying a corrupted immigration officer and agent

Good luck

I have friends who have entered Thailand by stv visa but via fitztrip agency, ask for the steps and look here for details. Not sure the service charge I just know that the document is fairly complicated.

I'm from Poland and live in Thailand. First he need to come to Thailand. This is complicated right now and even Thai Embassy in Poland/Warsaw will have some complicated rules. When he here he can stay on Ed Visa (not easy now to get), Volunteer Visa (I have now for 1 year), working visa (if he will work here).

STV should be available. It is in most embassies now. Normal TR visa gives you 60 days on arrival and is extendable once for a further 30 days. Depending on the Covid situation it may be possible to extend further, but the current rule for extending due to Covid runs out on Jan 29th. You’d have to wait and see if that changes.

So have to corporate with stv visa company only that way?

@Sasi *************
no you should be able to apply for the STV through your nearest Royal Thai embassy or consulate when it's made available. No need to use agency or company.

sorry I don’t know the process of the STV. The normal TR is done via their local embassy. They’d also have to jump through all the hoops of quarantine, insurance, certificate of entry etc.

he can apply for the visa himself, no company needed for either STV or normal tourist visa
