Sharing my experience extending my STV visa today in Chaengwattana immigration. Please read to the end.

Required documents:

1. Copy of passport

2. Copy of STV visa and recent entering stamp

3. Copy of TM.6 form (small paper you receive when entering Thailand)

4. TM.7 form (you can get it at the immigration) + photo (you can take the photo downstairs at the immigration if you don’t have one)

5. STM 2. Declaration that you're aware about overstay and the penalties (you can get it at the immigration together with the TM.7 form)

6. Letter from your ASQ hotel confirming that you’ve completed the quarantine (you should receive it at the end of your stay)

7. Receipt from the ASQ (room charges) - the reservation letter is not accepted even if it states that you paid the reservation ; ask the hotel for the receipt

8. Health Insurance stating coverage amount, line by line items in details of IP, OP, Covid coverage amount.

9. Insurance receipt that confirms that you paid for it

10. Confirmation of accommodation (lease agreement, hotel or others). I presented the lease agreement, it has to clearly state your name and passport number, rental period + 4 signatures, copies of tenants and landlord’s passports. Rental period should cover at least 3 months of stay.

11. Attention - the officer also asked me if I had done my TM30 report. I confirmed (my landlord's agent did it for me). They started to check it in their systems, in the meantime I showed them a screenshot that the agent shared with me via Line (it was the only TM30 related document I had). It was basically a screenshot from the immigration system stating my partner’s and mine’s basic information (name, passport number, nationality, check-in date, TM6 number etc). The immigration officer asked me to print it in the copy point downstairs and bring it to her.

Apart from this, everything went quite smoothly. Be aware that they're checking all documents quite thoroughly. I went to the immigration shortly after 8am and waited around 10 minutes for my turn. Paid standard 1900 BHT. The copy points are open and there are glue boxes available for sticking your photo at the TM.7 form 🤪
