TLDR : Answer Summary
The 30-day extension related to the COVID-19 situation appears to be applicable only for Tourist Visas, as per the official memo. Individuals holding Non-Immigrant Visas are advised to apply for their usual 1-year Extension of Stay at the local Immigration Office.

I close it down, please make your own topic, a Non Immigrant O is another visa, you went to another office so DO NOT HIJACK and force us to close topics.

There is no 30 day covid19 extension, it's UP TO 30 days, at the discretion of the immigration officer.

@Martin *******
you apply for a 30 day extension at the discretion of immigration. You need your embassy letter and copies of email correspondence with them. Plus residency documents.

and you state IF , so maybe it won't
Robert *******
If you stop work there is no reason to be in Thailand, not a big mess.
Lloyd ********
no, you have to be employed to apply for the 1 year extension
Robert *******
Yes, the memo clearly stated that the letters from Embassy are only for Tourist Stamp (TS in point 1.

There are NO changes for people holding a Non Immigrant Visa and they can apply as usual for the 1 year Extension of Stay at their local Immigration Office.
