TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent traveler flew from Bangkok to Spain with KLM and encountered some confusion regarding COVID-19 testing requirements. Although Thailand is on the EU's green list, Spain still requires a negative COVID-19 test for entry. The traveler had a quick antigen test in Bangkok prior to departure, which cost 1500 baht and provided results in 20 minutes. Additionally, travelers need to obtain a QR code from the Spain app.

Friend of mine did yesterday.

Even tho the whole required/not required Covid test is confusing (EU dropped TH but Spain still has it in the green list) it is prolly a smart and cautious thing to do... To get tested.

My friend did a quick antigen test at Ramkhamheng for 1500 baht the morning of the day he flew ... 20 min later he had the negative certificate in English.

U also need the QR from the Spain App.

nope, also according to it all not even need to test untill July 25 (and then maybe they will change or maybe not) but if you want to be safe, then take the test. My friend entered with antigen

according to Spain's Embassy in Bangkok: TH is green (at least) till the 25th of July

BUT

The airline might require you to go through immigration in Amsterdam (my friend did... Not sure if he was forced to or chose to)

In that case u r looking at Netherlands law

The airline asked for it on check in at Suvarnabhumi.

If u don't have would they still let u board?... Not sure.

It's SUCH a risk for 1500 baht ... I would just do the antigen (gotta be less than 48hr old at time of landing)

He did NOT make an appointment for the test
