Wanna mention WHAT border you're thinking of bouncing at in thailand?
Some borders (even if you have a valid visa) make you stay out overnight or two nights before you can get back in
AND
believe it or not some border won't even let people on DTV's bounce out/back at all, they'll let you out and tell you to go fly back in 😮

Just go back the same day or more cost effect to fly out and back in again and takes less time.
