TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about entering Thailand with their child who is a dual citizen of Thailand and Singapore, specifically about using the Singapore passport for entry and whether a birth certificate for the child is necessary. Comments suggest that entering on a Singapore passport is acceptable, as the child would be treated like any other Singaporean. Additionally, it is advised that carrying a birth certificate may be beneficial when traveling alone with the child to avoid any potential issues, though it is not always requested.

I know (at least in Europe) if you travel with children it can be a good idea to take a birth certificate and permission of the other parent if you travel alone with the child. They never asked me, but they can if they suspect child abduction. I travelled a couple of times alone with my Thai daughter (baby, she has my family name) and was never asked anything. This was in Bangkok and Phuket.
