please Can someone explain to me if it is difficult to get a non-0 pensioner visa based on a monthly income that is more than 65,000 Baht at the Thai embassy in Copenhagen..
Answer summary
Obtaining a Non-O pensioner visa at the Thai embassy in Copenhagen is feasible if you meet the income requirements. You must demonstrate a monthly income of at least 65,000 Baht over three months and apply online. After arriving in Thailand, you'll need to deposit 800,000 Baht into a Thai bank account for two months before applying for a one-year extension. The embassy in Copenhagen does not issue income certificates, which might impact the extension process, as only certificates issued in Thailand are accepted by immigration.

You will need to apply online using the evisa system but your application will still be processed by the Thai embassy in Copenhagen. You show 3 months income of 65k baht or greater along with the other requirements to obtain a 90 day Non-O visa. When you get to Thailand however you will need to deposit a minimum of 800k baht into a Thai bank account, which must be there for 2 months before you can apply for the 12 month extension of stay as your embassy in bangkok no longer provides income certificates
And can I get a certificate of income here at the Thai embassy in Copenhagen and with that certificate ask for an extension of stay at the immigration center in Thailand?
you can not. Only certificates issued inside Thailand are accepted by immigration. For your 1st extension you have no option but to show the 800k in a Thai bank, for 2nd and subsequent extensions you can show 12 months of 65k baht transfers from overseas each month immediately prior to applying for the extension
That’s why if you are applying on Thai Immigration a 1-year Retirement Extension, you will need to use alternative financial proof.
*** you either use a minimum of 800,000 THB in your Thai bank account. On the day you apply, the deposit must have been sitting in your account for a minimum of two months, and you need the bank letter that confirms it
*** or, for the second annual application to the 1-year Retirement Extension, you can use such as a 12-month bank statement showing regular monthly transfers of at least 65,000 THB into your Thai bank account, and you must prove that each transfer came from abroad
Danko Zarkovic . . . . . 😐😐 No, the Danish Embassy in Bangkok no longer issues income affidavits (pension or income letters). This service was discontinued because the embassy cannot legally fulfill the requirements of Thai authorities to guarantee future income levels for Danish nationals
Jeff Fouble This is pretty much the general rule for applying for a Non-O visa. Requirements may vary slightly at individual embassies, so check yours just in case.
Jan Kenneth Nesland he can use the income proof for the application to the initial 90-days Non-Imm-O visa, but he cannot use the income for the application to the one-year extension of the stay permit in Thailand. The Danish embassy does not issue any income affidavits
