Hi, I came to Bangkok on 16 March and got an e30 day visa on arrival, I did not extend because of the amnesty extension until the 30th of April, which has now been extended until July 31st.

I plan to leave before July 31st, but I’m reading mixed info online saying the visa on arrival may not be included in a he amnesty extension?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks clarification on whether their Visa on Arrival is included in the current amnesty extension in Thailand, which has been extended to July 31. Users in the comments confirm that the amnesty covers them until they leave the country.

actually that is the thai character ผ and you have a ผ.30 entry stamp :O

Which is a 30 day visa exempt entry that people from 51 countries get when they show up here without ANY visa in their passports and get stamped in for 30 days for free. :P

ah, I’m a newbie to the country (and the language) haha.

But it falls under the amnesty extension, right?

You are covered by the amnesty until 31 July or until the moment you leave the country, whatever comes first.
