Bluport (Hua Hin) immigration update: yesterday someone said a TM30 is necessary but we managed to get a visa extension with only a printed copy of the AirBnB receipt (30 day rental). Neither our condo owner nor the building administration had done a TM30 for us. Still, the lines are long again today (they were long yesterday) and we waited 2.5 hours, even though we got there at 10am to get the queue numbers (for 11am open).
For those not in the Hua Hin area, Bluport visa extensions usually take very little time. I did it in 5 minutes just a few months ago. Never had to wait more than 30 minutes during prior visits.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent experience at Bluport immigration in Hua Hin revealed that despite the common belief that a TM30 is necessary, a visa extension was successfully obtained using only a printed AirBnB rental receipt. Although the office faced long wait times due to high season and recent holidays, the process was typically quick. Comments indicated that TM30 requirements seem to vary by day, with some days not requiring it.
I wish you told me that yesterday! π (We went twice yesterday but were turned away because the lines were too long. Could've just waited until lucky Friday)
yeah mate seems all everyone talking about now bloody nonsense why immigration have started enforcing all this BS and paperwork the mind boggles lol π
took a friend to get an extension last week at IT Square, the person who checked his documents didn't care about the TM.30 but the IO next to her checking documents asked the person she was checking them for where his TM.30 printout was. My friend was told to go sit and wait for his number to be called (no TM.30) and the other poor guy was sent away to get a TM.30 printoutπ€¦π€¦π€£π€£
