Update on my tourist visa extension. It appears my post yesterday was closed by the moderator. Rather than wait until closer to our exit date we decided to go to Immigration in Bluport Mall, Hua Hin yesterday. Asked the hotel where we are staying for a TM 30 based on advice I received on this site. The hotel seemed confused about my request but eventually gave me a print confirming my booking. Arrived at the office around 1:30 and took a number. While waiting for our turn we had our photos taken at a kiosk close by. We waited about 1.5 hours and were called in. The official asked for our room key and was not interested in our printout from the hotel. Ten minutes later we got our 30 day extension even though we just arrived three days ago. Very nice place to get the job done. ๐
