TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired whether Hanoi visa applications require a 3-month bank statement showing a balance of 500,000 Baht or just a total amount of 500,000 Baht. Community responses suggested that while the requirement typically emphasizes having 500,000 Baht, it is not strictly necessary to have it for a continuous 3-month period. Applicants might still get accepted if they can demonstrate the total required amount in their bank account, even if the funds have been consolidated from other accounts. Clarity in documentation and a cover letter explaining the fund transfers are recommended.

i applied in december and was accepted, only had 500k in my bank for around 10 days before, previous month i had even less and then less the previous month. just to a cover letter to explain all your transfers and make it as easy as possible for them to understand, you’ll be fine, you don’t need 3 months in a row in hanoi :)

So I always thought it was 15,000 USD and not the currency has changed... do you think I won't be accepted if my last 3 months are always 15K?

if it’s been recently transfer to one account, but all came from my other accounts. Would that be an issue? Like I would provide evidence / screenshots that it’s been transferred from my other personal accounts.

Are you not able to show the first account since both are your own account? It doesn't have to be a Thai bank as long as it's equivalent to baht500k.

It may be risky and might even get rejected for even small complications

Thanks for explaining. The funds were originally in my other personal accounts, so I can show the statements from those accounts as well to prove the source of funds. They’ve just recently been consolidated into one account. Do you think that would still be acceptable if I provide the full statements and transfer records
