Had the most smoothest process through Bangkok airport with my DTV last night.
I did my DTAC card online the night before.
I literally just gave her my passport, and she didn't ask for my DTAC or DTV E-Visa or anything else more than my passport.
Doesn't get any easier than that!

The stories where entrance caused problems are much more of interest, they might give insight in how and when checks are done, especially when they are accompanied with relevant details.It also shows others what kind of things are asked, so everybody knows how to be prepared.
I don't see why checks and interrogations should be considered as horror stories, it is just a small inconvenience.
When it becomes a horror story for somebody it just is their own fault.

It is completely up to you if you distrust anonymous stories.I do not see why a name makes the story more trustworthy.
Certainly not every detail will be correct in every story.
But I've had enough of all those people who actually have nothing to say, but who would also like to let everybody know they still exist and then proudly announce they've arrived back in Thailand.
It feels like a tea party here. 🫖☕
