Quick DTV Entry Update: 🇵🇰🇹🇭

This was my second entry to Thailand on the DTV. I had entered Thailand from Bali on my first entry and it was a breeze. Just got asked a Q about accomodation.

Today I was entering from Pakistan. And it was even smoother. I expected a lot of Qs at Bangkok airport. Surprisingly, no Qs asked. Just stamped in for 6 months.

There were a few Qs leaving Pakistan (by Pakistani Passport Control) but mainly because they'd never seen a DTV before 😁

So happy with the whole process 🎉

PS: I filled out the TDAC while still on runway so it saved a BUNCH of time. Also, ZERO waiting time in line for passport control. They have so many counters now.

It was a breeze?! 😂😂

Dude this is nothing special, this is how visas work all over the world.

Do you think they have time to ask every single person entering their boarders questions?

weaker passports? What are you talking about.

When someone gets asked questions when entering 99.99% of the time it’s run of the mill, people then come on here which just panics people.

The role and responsibilities of an IO is to protect the boarders and that involves asking people questions for whatever reason these deem fit.

This is no different to any other country.

The only time to worry is if you have something to hide. If you are abusing the visa then expect to be challenged and for good reason.

So again “ it was a breeze 🤣🤣🤣 “

Good for you. And out of curiosity, are there still direct flights from Pakistan? Or did you make a stop somewhere else? I'm asking because I read that Thai Airways had suspended its flights? Maybe they resumed? Or another airline?
