Hello! My Daughter has an ED Visa and I have a Non-O (dependent) Visa. Our visas expire next year. Booked a flight for Dec 13. How soon can I go to immigration to submit school letter and to cancel our visas? School will refund deposit to my bank account. Will I have a hard time getting the cheque cleared and not be able to withdraw my balances on my account? Thanks ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking about the process for submitting a school letter and cancelling their visas before a scheduled flight. Responses indicate that immigration offices typically allow visa cancellations 1-2 weeks prior to the date specified in the school's letter. Both the user and daughter are believed to be on extensions of stay, requiring a letter from the school stating the last day of study to proceed with cancellation.

I guess you are both on extensions of stay and not on visas. If so you get a letter from the school stating the last day of study and take that to immigration to cancel your extensions. You can usually do that a week or two in advance of the provided date and need to leave Thailand by that date.
