TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Thai Non-O visa, most offices do not require the 800,000 THB to be seasoned in your bank account, except for Jomtien, which requires it to be in the account for 2 months prior to application. For an extension of stay, the funds should be in the account 2 months before applying and must not drop below 400,000 THB for the rest of the year. Additionally, the balance needs to return to 800,000 THB at least 2 months before the next application.

Not sure if you are asking about getting the initial Non O visa in country or a year extension of stay.

If the former most offices don’t require seasoning of funds prior to applying for the Non O. Jomtien does require 2 months prior. Some offices will insist that you show the funds came from overseas. Some don’t seem to care.

For the extension it’s 2 months prior and 3 months after and the balance can’t go below 400k for the rest of the year. It would need to be back up to 800k 2 months prior to your next application.

Tks for your response. I don’t understand why Thailand does not have one standard requirement for the entire country. In the same Immigration Office in Thailand, I had 3 Immigration Officers tell me 3 different requirements for the same issue. That is very frustrating!

It’s called individual case processing

lol, I’ve been going to Thailand for over 53 years and lived there for 6 years on and off, plus about 27 trips there so far. I’m married to a Thai as well. I just never went the 800,000 TB route.
