TLDR : Answer Summary
The time taken to get a re-entry at Bangkok Airport (BKK) varies, but most respondents report it typically taking around 5 to 15 minutes. Factors such as the time of arrival and whether additional fees are paid can influence this duration.

Also i work on ships and Port of Bangkok is not refered to as POB its BKK

@Glenn ****
Lots of people in Asia refer to BKK as Bangkok, KL as kuala Lumpar JB johor Baru etc etc
Glenn *****
@Michael *******
those are abbreviations. BKK is not and leads to confusion. Many people also use BKK for Bangkok Bank when it is actually BBL. The proper abbreviation of Bangkok is BNK or TK (.Krung Thep). If people just make them up, you will have the Philippines. The whole of western civilization hinges on the proper use of abbreviations!

What are you talking about? ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

he is referring to the letters "BKK", which is the IATA code of Suvarnabhumi airport. Although clearly a reference to the city Suvarnabhumi airport is serving, this IATA code is still only referring to the actual airport. Not to the city. And neither to some bank. He hence implies finding the phrase "if you mean ..." redundant. To him, the reference to the airport is the only viable possibility.

And to me as well.

do you need to fill in form and provide photo ?
Roberto *********
@Michael ******
You can fill in the form and provide a photo. This will save you 200 baht. Otherwise they'll do all that and charge you 1200 for single, 4000 for multiple. Takes 10-15 minutes
