Hello guys, I have information for people willing to do reentry permit at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport. They changed the process and now you apply for reentry permit AFTER passport control (many people who used to do it often before are confused). Which means, you need to secure more time, because you will stay in entire line for immigrations (previously, after getting reentry permit they were allowing to go to immigration officer both directly). Also, usually there were no more people than 1-2 in the line for reentry permit, but today there over 10 and it took almost one hour waiting...
TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent update has changed the reentry permit application process at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Travelers must now apply for the permit after going through passport control, resulting in longer waiting times at immigration. Previously, applicants could secure their reentry permit and then approach the immigration officer directly, but the new system has led to increased lines, often requiring additional time. It's recommended to arrive at least three hours early for international flights during the holiday season.
