TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a visa from the Thai embassy in London varies significantly among applicants. Reports indicate that some visas are issued as quickly as 24 hours to 2 days for those with urgent travel dates, while others can take longer, from four to six days, and up to 21 working days in certain cases. Factors influencing processing speed include the completeness of the application and any requested supporting documents.

I applied on a Monday. Additional documents requested the next day including a confirmed flight ticket (I bought a flexible just to be sure) and some more information from my dentist. Approved late Wednesday evening about 11.35pm.
I have seen 2 posts this week. One said 24 hours, the other said 2 weeks! So I guess it is pretty hit and miss. I will be submitting my own application in the next day or so ( also to London) I'm flying in the 7th November and don't feel panicked at all.
