I'm currently 'on holiday' in Korat. I've been advised to go to Savannakhet to get a 90-day N-O visa so that I'm then able to apply for a 1 year visa married with a Thai wife.
Can someone please advise how long I would need to stay in Savannakhet; I have been advised it takes between 24 & 48 hours to get sorted - please advise.
Is there anything special I need to take with me for the 90 day visa please?
Thank you for your support.

What robert says is correct. Just had my visa done last month @ savanakhet. I did go on a monday but made sure i went a bit early. Wasnt even that busy, sorted in a jiffy. ๐
you apply in the morning and pick up the next working day in the afternoon. Personal advice, travel day 1, apply day 2 09:00 but make sure it is not a Monday or Thursday as the visa run services are there an it will be busy, check carefully for weekends and holidays and pick up next working day at 14:00.
