How do I complete a DTAC application for a stopover when my departure and arrival dates are different?

Has anyone completed a DTAC application successfully where they are doing a stopover? For example my departure date is different from my arrival date, so it won’t let me enter the departure date only the arrival! I suppose I just enter the same date for both; the arrival date?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Many users have shared their experiences completing a DTAC application while having a stopover. It is generally accepted to enter the arrival date into Thailand from your flight details, and the departure date from Thailand may be left blank, as it is not mandatory. Users confirmed that entering the details of the flight arriving in Bangkok suffices, regardless of a stopover in another country.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

Apologies, but I think the departure date refers to when I leave Thailand? As I’m resident I’ll leave this blank.

So if you leave UK on a Tuesday and enter thailand on Wednesday. You fill in from uk Tuesday date arrive thailand Wednesday date. Leave the departure date from thailand blank as it is not required

I used my departure date from home country and ignored the layover date.

All was good

The tdac asks for arrival date into thailand and leaving date from thailand (this is optional so no need to fill it in).
Peter ***************
No need for departure details.

It has nothing to do with being a resident. You dont need to enter a departure date because that field doesn't have an *. It's an arrival card, nothing else

I only put my departure flight from UK because that's where I was coming from. I ignored the layover.
