60day tourist extension - Covid

USA

Went early this month on the 20th at 2PM. In and out in 30min. No queue to pay the 1900B. Only 10 people in the pick up waiting room.

Typically it takes 2-3hrs on the 25th.

The 4 required forms are:

- TM.7 (printed on both sides, photo required)

- STM.2

- Acknowledgment of Penalties for Visa Overstay

- Affidavit for granting permission to temporarily stay in the Kingdom during the pandemic situation of Covid-19 (printed on both sides)

*All forms pre-filled & signed.

They were happy to give extra copies for next time.

Provided the TM30 and was asked the hotel name. Could not get an answer if the TM30 is required or not.

Pick up on Feb 3. They said it is ok to pick it up after the 3rd. No pickup deadline was given.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience obtaining a 60-day tourist visa extension in Thailand due to COVID-19. They visited the relevant office on January 20th, experiencing minimal wait time and completing the process in about 30 minutes. The required forms include the TM.7, STM.2, an acknowledgment of penalties for overstaying, and an affidavit related to the pandemic, all of which should be pre-filled and signed. Despite inquiries, the necessity of the TM30 form remained unclear, which was submitted along with the hotel information.
