Hi, can someone explain to me how exactly the 60-day covid extensions work? Can I string them together or can I only get it one time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day COVID extensions in Thailand were available for those needing to prolong their stay due to the pandemic. While some people have successfully strung these extensions together over the past 18 months, it’s suggested that those considering this option may be too late, as the latest date to apply is November 26th, 2021. There have been discussions of an extension until December 31st, but no official confirmation has been provided yet. Additionally, the topic of addressing TM 30 forms from hotels was raised.

Adding on to the OP do hotels issue a TM 30 ?

Well people have been stringing them together for last 18 months or however long they have been, but I think your a bit late trying to consider using covid extensions as a way of staying in the country now.

Nov 26th is latest date for applying.

There was a report that it maybe extended until Dec 31st but no news on that.

My landlord told me they extended them for another year, I guess that's not the case then?

They have only ever been extending 60 days at a time.

Ok thanks, I'm about to do my extension the next 2 days so I should get one at least

Apart from bad info from Landlord I hope he has at least done your TM 30. Most places require this for the covid extension

Yep I have all the documents already, was just wondering if I should go for the regular 30-day extension first in case I can only get the 60 days one time

Some places may insist on the regular 30 day extension first.

There has been no limit on how many covid extensions you can get, there are people here on 5 or 6 extensions

I hope I can get the 60 days but if not then so be it. Done stressing too much about this stuff, it will work out somehow

correct, they definitely haven't been extended for another year. Michael is correct in what he said.
