My daughter (Singapore passport). is on a non-immigrant, single entry “ED” (educational) visa, and just started a 8 week unpaid internship in Bangkok. She want to apply for a multiple re-entry permit which will be valid till September 2017. . But was told that it would be difficult to get the multiple re-entry permit because the internship is only for 8 weeks while the multiple re-entry permit is issued for 1 year. Greatly appreciate any information on how to get the multiple re-entry permit? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a multiple re-entry permit for their daughter, who holds a Singapore passport and is currently on a non-immigrant educational (ED) visa while undertaking an 8-week unpaid internship in Bangkok. Users in the comments clarify that the validity of the re-entry permit corresponds to the duration of the permission to stay, and provide guidance on the process, including the location of the immigration office, necessary forms (TM8), and that the application must be made in person.
Bus 66 goes there. It goes from Southern Bus Terminal to The Government Complex via Purple MRT Tao Poon (Blue MRT > Bang Sue > shuttle to Tao Poon station > walk 5 minutes to bus stop > Bus 66 to immigration)
Thank you Lloyd for the reply. May I know where the immigration building in Bangkok is, what are the documents required, any forms to fill in and does my daughter have to apply in person?
