How can I transfer my Thai visa and stamps from my old passport to my new Canadian passport?
How’s everyone ? Quick question, I just renewed my Canadian passport, however my old passport has my visa (non immigrant b) with about nine months still on it
Is it an easy process to transfer the visa to the new passport or should I do it with the help of a lawyer, any advice is very much appreciated thank you

you are not on a visa, you are on an extension of the stay permit. This is a stamp which Immigration is allowed to transfer from the old to the new passport. Plus they will transfer any still valid re-entry stamp. Immigration does NEVER transfer any visa. It is easy to do by yourself, just visit Immigration with both passports

Just use both passports until you renew in 9 months and get your new stamp in your new passport... It's no issue

Yes. Take both passports to your local immigration office and ask them to move the stamps to the new passport.

Mark Scodellaro it’s very easy and it doesn’t cost anything. Just ask them for the form for you to fill out. I’m pretty sure you need photocopies too. I can’t remember off hand what the photocopies were of though.
