TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the experiences of individuals who applied for the DTV visa and faced multiple rejections before finally getting approved on their third attempt. Many participants share insights about their personal experiences, including the importance of correcting previous mistakes, the benefits of using legal agencies like Issa Compass, and differing opinions on embassy practices during the application process. Several commenters emphasize the unpredictability of visa approvals, suggesting that sometimes rejections may occur without clear reasons.
Completely agree with this, some embassies absolutely seem to be rejecting randomly for seemingly no real reason, my Muay Thai trainer told me about this before I applied, she had seen it with many of her students. Most people in here seem to assume that there's always something wrong with the application if you get rejected, that might be the case but it might also be that you got unlucky with the officer. Fully agree its better to apply at an embassy where they do interviews.
my first time i used crypto/stocks as proof of funds and second i genuinely don’t know what they rejected. so thank you for your insight i will try again
Don’t listen to people who try to put you down here. They are pure scums in Vietnam. They use an arbitrary way to reject people and don’t even provide rejection reason because they are “entitled to”.
Yes, Once in HCMC and once in Hanoi. Applied both of those on my own no agency. I literally changed nothing on the 3rd attempt besides using Issa Compass Agency, applied through Manila. Approved after 10 days and an in person interview. I was never given a reason for the rejections before. Not (cancelled) straight up rejected after a few working days. I emailed the embassy in Hanoi last time and they just said to kindly apply again to see if I meet the requirements.
Try going through one of the law agencies - they found something very small in one of my photos that was causing my rejection. A corrected version was sent to them and it was approved in 5 days
Times yes, but its also important to think about reason for rejection. If they reject because they dont think you meet requirements twice i think it might be hard but if it was simple mistakes shouldnt be a problem.
