Hi Guys !!! Did anyone apply for the “Muay Thai Soft Power" recently in Cambodia? I heard that many people that tried got their DTV cancelled due of a missing document "Of The Ministry Of Sports” which is impossible to get‼️

I’m currently in Cambodia! If anyone has some news and could share I would be really happy!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 'Muay Thai Soft Power' DTV visa application in Cambodia has faced challenges, particularly regarding a document from the Ministry of Sports, which some applicants find difficult to obtain. However, several commenters suggest that many gyms can provide the necessary documentation, such as registration copies from the ministry or boxing association. They also emphasize the importance of choosing the right gym and possibly using an agent to navigate the requirements. Some gyms, like Fight EVO360 Thailand and Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym, are mentioned as reliable sources for the required paperwork.

The background to this requirement is interesting. They are not accepting just the sports authority certification any more they want the sports authority to individually write a letter for each customer.

It's a crazy requirement they may as well ask for a letter from the king .

I dare nor say more but my gym now don't support Cambodia as a viable destination due to this despite having every gym license available

Sports authority

Board of boxing sport A License

Ministry of education instructors

But going down the sports authority and getting personal letters is not happening

Yes you are absolutely right! The reason I chose cambodia is because they aren’t that strict with the 500k… but this might just be a myth from the past. Anyways I got a local friend here so she might can find out more and if not I’ll just try a different country to be on the safe side.

@Damodar *******
sorry to hear they should have the ministry of sport document. Where are you from ?
Greg ********
The document from Ministry of Sports is not impossible. Many gyms supply you a copy of their registration with the ministry and boxing association too. Read it here

Greg Bewick Cambodia is very strict now on SP applications due to the heaps of bogus applications there.

@Andi **********
or they prefer working with agents?

Greg Bewick I understand there is a clampdown on those too, hence price increase.
