How can I successfully apply for the DTV visa while working on Preply?
I’m working on Preply since 2022 and I applied on 24th June in Ho Chi Minh and today my visa got approved ☺️

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

no need to print anything. They didn’t ask me anything at Phuket Airport and just stamped 180 days ;)James ********

do whatever you want... but the instructions are that you are to print out the email PDF received from the Thai Embassy or Consulate where your DTV Visa Application was approved.When you check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand and on arrival into Thailand it it's convenient to have a printed copy of the DTV visa to present to airline staff and Thai Immigration Officers.

Sorry James but what is this attitude! I have lots of friends who have DTV and they told me I don’t need it printed. And I didn’t wanna look for a print shop in the morning, and I didn’t. I came to Thailand with no problem.

That's awesome! I was thinking about applying for the DTV myself but I've only been doing prepply for about a year and my earnings are pretty low. You think I stand a chance of getting approved?

I don’t know. My earnings is quite ok.But make a document.
Put the link of your profile.
On your profile, write down that you don’t teach anyone from Thailand or anyone living in Thailand.
Make a list of your students and their nationalities and residencies.
I put all the screenshots: my earnings since the beginning, my uptodate calendar. Also my withdrawals.
Then I also put the bank statement and showed all the Preply earnings there.
On the cover letter, I explained what im doing.
Just be sure that you meet all the requirements and put all the documents that they want.
