What types of medical treatments are approved for the DTV Visa in Thailand?

What kind of medical tourism are people having luck with for the DTV Visa?

Almost no medical treatment lasts 5 years - so what kind of medical tourism is getting approved for this qualification?

I have no problem with proof of funds but don't work and am not doing muay thai etc.- I'm considering getting veneers done which usually is up to 4 visits over a few months.

Anyone have good experience qualifying through dental work?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around qualifying for the DTV Visa through medical treatments, particularly dental work, as standard treatments typically do not last five years. Several community members shared their experiences, stating that treatments should ideally cover six months or more to avoid receiving a short-term visa. Dental clinics offering DTV packages are noted, along with the importance of providing a formal treatment plan or a letter from a medical professional. Experiences include orthodontic treatments and acquiring letters from doctors to support visa applications.

I'm doing orthodontics. I had a letter from the private clinic. The letter I submitted to the embassy was for an initial treatment of six months with flexible dates. The treatment was extended based on the progress. I don't know if you already have dental issues or are willing to commit to having metal mouth for a visa. Also, I applied in Taipei and showed proof of regular employment income, and at the time, they were much harder on SP applicants who couldn't prove income.

I had no treatment plan, but I had a letter written by my doctor in Bangkok on Clinic letterhead with the clinic stamp, doctor signature and medical affiliations. The letter included my diagnosis which requires long term appointments.

No haters please, I'm ready to unfollow this group.

When was this? It seems more difficult now than it used to be when DTV first came out.

I had no treatment plan, just a letter from my doctor in Bangkok saying I'm a patient of hers and the hospital. It was on official hospital letterhead.

You should show treatment that covers 6months plus as any shorter will likely see you get a TV for 6mths. There are some dental clinics that do DTV packages so they will create the treatment plan to get approved. Threads have several posts from dental DTVERS.
