Do I need to carry 20,000 baht cash when returning to Thailand with a pending DTV Visa?
My DTV Visa is pending approval at Thai Embassy Hanoi, hoping the visa gets approved.. Do I need to arrive back in Thailand with 20,000 baht cash? I will print out my E-visa so that part isn't an issue, I have the 20,000 baht in my account but if I don't need to withdraw then I'd rather not?

By Thai Immigration rules:
20.000 Thb OR equivalent currency in CASH, family 40.000 Thb.
BUT some will tell not needed as Immigration Officers do not have a DTV and therefor NO KNOWLEGDE about any ruling.

If you have 20,000 baht in Thai bank, It is ok. If it is not Thai bank, you should have cash.

In theory, yes, in cash, but pretty much nobody is ever asked. Perhaps if you look really rough they may! Printed eVisa not a bad idea, but they also accept it on your phone - essentially the QR they want to see. TDAC you don't need to show, as it's all automatic and registered to your passport - just make sure you completed it and received the confirmation.
