Not sure if anyone has posted this specific enquiry but here goes: when completing the online application (will submit once in country I am applying from) as you can only submit the passport main pages, how do you prove the Visa entry stamp in the country which you’re applying from? I intend to go to Ho Chi Minh & apply there.

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around how to provide proof of a Visa entry stamp when completing an online visa application in Ho Chi Minh. Community members suggested various methods, including taking a photo of the entry stamp and merging it with hotel booking confirmations into a single PDF file. Others noted the importance of showing the whole page of the passport where the entry stamp is located. Detailed experiences regarding document handling and approval processes were shared by those who recently completed similar applications.

I applied in HCMC yesterday and they were happy with photo of entry stamp but it had to include the whole page( to show my passport number which is on top of every PG)

I renewed my passport in hcmc last week and they asked my full pages of old passport.

so I used google document to merge all of passport pics and exported as 1 PDF file and uploaded.

And it changes Pending approval status.

You can do it haha

If you want to cover all bases: Take photo of entry stamp, convert this to PDF. Then merge this PDF with a hotel booking confirmation PDF (easy to do merging online).

So we gotta merge all documents? Payslips and contract? There’s like 20 pages on my contract πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

@Danny **********
you probably only need the relevant pages of the employment contract.

The first page then πŸ˜ƒ States fully remote so I guess that. Thanks πŸ™‚

each question allows one document to be uploaded, so if you want to submit multiple documents (for a question) you'll need to merge them into one, or submit one and wait for the embassy to request further documents

@Benjamin ********
Any idea how to merge said documents?

But there isn’t the option to include other files such as this - unless I am missing something

yes HCMC embassy seems to want both the stamp and hotel confirmation/receipt. It's too bad multiple documents aren't able to be uploaded. So you have two options. (1) Submit one document, apply, and they'll likely request further documents. (2) Create a single document (e.g. merge PDF) which includes both/multiple documents you want to submit for the location question.

ok, yes, thought I might have to try and merge. Have done that for the work contract & invoices etc. When uploading the passport you can only do one image of the main pages. So perhaps I have to just add the visa entry to one of the other docs.. thanks tho

Upload the biodata page of passport where it asks for that. Upload location documents (including visa stamp in passport) where it asks for proof of location.

send photo of visa stamp if you like. Search the group. Lots of posts detailing what was needed for HCMC
