Anybody applied for a tourist visa in Singapore? It doesn't state on their website that South Africans can't. Have registered online already. Just looking to hear about anybody's experiences and how long they had to wait for the visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the experiences of individuals applying for a tourist visa to Thailand from Singapore, specifically for South African passport holders. There is uncertainty surrounding the application process, as the official website does not explicitly mention restrictions for South Africans. Community members share insights, hinting that while the official processing time is stated as 3 to 5 working days, many have reported receiving their visas in 1 to 2 days. Participants in the conversation also reference the possibility of using a 30-day visa exemption upon entry.
! South Africans have had a difficult time because of a select few causing problems in BKK. I haven't heard of many going to Singapore but I am hopeful ๐
You will receive a notification when your visa is approved and available to be collected ( Put in your passport) I believe somebody posted recently that you hand it in on day one and collect on day 2.
I mean for a 60 day SETV. I have seen that the website states 3 - 5 days but most of the posts that I read say that people only waited a day or 2. Registered online already. Is it 3 - 5 days after online application or when we hand in the documents at the embassy after online approval?
I assume you realise that you can enter on the 30 day visa exemption? The Singapore Embassy website states visa applications take between 3 and 5 working days. You apply online for the visa.
